Capable of Living

“There is no passion in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” This quote came from the wisdom of Nelson Mandela. Not to long ago I was told that my generation is more focused on doing careers of passion compared to doing careers that provide financial stability. I countered with why can’t we have both? Why is it that we need to give up one for the other. I believe that passion is a huge motivator in obtaining both of doing what you love and getting the financial stability for the life you want. Our generation is capable of doing amazing things. Those amazing things we are going to create come from a place of passion. So my philosophy as you all know is to do what I love! I plan to live my passion with a huge amount of success! What do you think of a life of passion compared to a life of financially stability?

  1. Janae,

I’ve struggled with the idea of life full of stability vs. following your passion for awhile. In the end I realized you need to make yourself happy. If you love what you do, the rest should fall into place.

Hopefully you are following your heart!

    • Hi Victoria,
I love your mindset so much! It so crazy that we have to choose between stability and passion. I truly do believe that we can have both. I agree the pieces will fall into place as that is how it should be! Thanks I got them from H&M a while ago!
      Thanks for commenting!
